Ryan Grier - Online. Website Development

Ryan Grier has been developing web sites for roughly 10 years. He started with very simple web sites (using very basic HTML) and has since moved to very complex sites using Java, Ajax, PHP and other technologies. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Millersville University and a master's degree in Software Engineering from Penn State University.

Ryan has written many applications and websites. Links to some of these are available to the left.

DS_Store Cleaner (a free Java application) has been included in multiple MacWorld Product CDs. This application is listed on Apple's Macintosh Products Guide site. It has also been mentioned in a magazine or two.

Version_Tool is an open source product Ryan wrote a few years ago to tackle a specific issue with Ant (a Java build tool) he had at the time. Since then, he hasn't updated it much. But the project is still hosted on SourceForge (an open source development site) and listed the Ant External Tools and Tasks site.

iPhone360Voice is Ryan's most recent personal project. This site is designed specificaly to be used on the iPhone and iPod Touch. He designed this product so that he could view his 360Voice (an Xbox 360 community site) on his iPod Touch. One of the challenges in making this product was taking raw data and generating graphs in image format on the fly. The site is a very niche product, but has been featured twice on the 360Voice website.

Ryan's most recent freelance work has been for ColdTree Creative. He has helped them with the web development of serveral of their clients' websites.
